Course Structure
Intro Red Dot Class (4 Hours)
This course focuses on building a solid foundation for running a pistol-mounted red dot. Instruction emphasizes efficient presentation, finding the dot consistently, managing recoil, and developing confidence with your optic through coached live-fire drills.
This is the only Red Dot class currently offered at Timberlake Firearms.
An Advanced Red Dot course is planned for the future and will be announced once the Intro class curriculum is fully established.
Equipment Requirements
- Reliable semi-automatic pistol
- Slide-mounted red dot optic (properly installed and secured)
- Minimum of 3 magazines
- Quality belt and holster that fully covers the trigger guard
- Eye and ear protection
Need an optic installed or zeroed?
Timberlake Firearms offers professional pistol red dot optic installation and zeroing services in-house. If you’re unsure whether your optic is mounted correctly or want it professionally set up before class, we recommend scheduling installation ahead of time.
